Born in Brazil, Fátima Trindade had the opportunity to study the jewelry trade in 1979. The international jewelry chain store, Christian Bernard, sponsored her studies that year in Puerto Rico. Drawn to New York City's Diamond District like a magnet, she soon found herself in the heart of it all, and diamonds have been the Big Apple of her eye ever since.
